Language dependent and format dependent lists can be edited in this editor. The type of list and the filename are displayed near the top of the screen. In the picture above the word list (c:\texfiles\latexsample.WRD) is edited. If you have made changes you can save the file by pressing the "Save" button. If you do not want to save the file, press the "Abort" button. If you want a print of the contents of the file, press the "Print" button.
Since all the list files are plain ASCII files (with the extension .4SPELL to indicate that they belong to the 4Spell program) any editor can be used to edit/change the content. The list editor is just a simple tool to change the content of a file.
