Verbatim file

A verbatim file contains a list of verbatim commands that are skipped during spell-checking. The verbatim command and the text that is specified between one of the characters specified in the verbatim characters list are skipped.

N.B. the verbatim file is format dependent. For the format TEX, the file TEXVERBCOMMANDS.4SPELL is used (filename syntax is: "format"VERBCOMMANDS.4SPELL). This file could look like this:

\verb
\verb*
So the line "Hello world of \verb+TeXies+ and others" the part \verb+TeXies+ is not spell-checked because it is a verbatim command. It will be colored by the verbatim color.
