This menu is similar to the Windows Run option. You can use it to run another program without leaving 4TeX.
The "Open" field specifies the program that you want to run.
The "OK" will run the selected program and quit the "Run" menu
The "Cancel" will quit the "Run" menu without running the program.
The "Browse" button will open an open file dialog and you can select the program you want to run.
